What is your 'WHY'? Why do you do what you do?
I got into mediation to help people struggling with conflict as a result of divorce and separation.
However I quickly realized that traditional mediation is more like referring than coaching.
Therefore I have chosen to focus more on helping people through the emotional part of divorce upfront versus suppressing the feelings of hurt, anger, shame and failure than often come with divorce.
Helping people understand they can be in control of their destiny and ultimately their happiness is one of the most rewarding things I have done.
Working with people who are seeking out a personalized approach to an unpleasant experience motivates me more than I could have ever have imagined.
In fact it gets me through those tough files when one of the spouses is not cooperating and the other needs the right support to ensure they divorce with their integrity intact.

What is your 'SECRET SAUCE'?
Me :). I truly care about everyone I work with or even interact with briefly.
People going through divorce, unfortunately, may make bad choices but it doesn't make them a bad person.
If I can help someone realize their past doesn't define who they are or who they want to be, I have added some positivity to a very difficult situation.
Describe your perfect client for me.
A couple that subscribes to coaching or counseling services to support them and their families.
Professionals that are educated and have worked hard to attain financial security and they do not want to throw away their savings by fighting the inevitable.
Mediation offers so much more than a settlement saving you time, money and stress.
It is your best chance to build on a new type of relationship with your ex.
You have nothing to lose but everything to gain with mediation.
What is the best thing you ever did for your business?
Network! Talking with other professionals has helped me refine how I see myself and my business. As an entrepreneur, it can be lonely and networking provided the camaraderie and motivation you don't often get when working alone.
