It's Not a Man's World Anymore
Meet Erin. A wife and mom of three school aged kids.
"I started my career as an engineer and currently work as construction manager. In 2017 I wrote and published my first book about empathy in leadership and am excited to spark a conversation changing the leadership experience for the next generation."
I fear a lot and still take action towards what matters most to me.
"I love the idea of this [30 Days of Gorgeous] campaign in the fact that we are all different and unique and that there isn’t one definition of beauty. I haven’t 100% landed on my “style” yet Because I’ve always been trying to live up to someone else’s definition of my style. I love the idea behind 30 Days of Gorgeous because we all need to see ourselves as gorgeous in whatever form that is."
''I have always had bad skin - acne and breakouts always.''
"So I put off taking photos of myself because I feel like I need to have clear skin in a photo when in everyday real life I don’t wear makeup because I can’t stand the feeling of it on my skin."
"I had some professional headshots done in 2015. I don’t care for the headshots as my hair and makeup looks over the top and not “me”. Writing a book, starting my own business and applying for speaker positions demands that I have head shots and every time I use the ones I currently have I cringe a little bit because I don’t like the way they represent me."
Erin is sparking change in the male dominated world of construction. Author of "Inside Out Empathy" she has solidified her position as a leader in her field and the sky is the limit for this beautiful and charismatic speaker. I'm glad she took a chance on participating in 30 Days of Gorgeous and embraced the full makeover and photoshoot experience with "Team Gorgeous" (ya, that's us!).
All the best to you Erin!
